THROUGH AUL's LENS: Analyzing "I Love My Country, but I Don't See My Future Here" By @yellowbeee on Medium

Hi there!! How are you? I hope you're always healthy and happy💗

Everyone must be loves their country, but sometimes love isn't enough for growing up. This time, I will analyze a blog that captures those feelings from the perspective of someone who loves Indonesia but doubts there's a future to be built in their own country. I will analyze a blog with title "I Love My Country, but I Don't See My Future Here", this blog will be analyzed based on the blog type, main characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses, so we can understand how the author conveys this message.

This blog written by @yellowbeee can be categorized as Trend and Opinion Blog. The writer talks about life in Indonesia, including social issues, money problems, and opportunities. She share her own experiences and also what she see happening around her It feels emotional and real, like you’re hearing someone’s honest thoughts about their life and their country.

The main audience is clearly Gen Z or anyone who might share the same struggle, especially students or early-career professionals who dream of making a change but feel limited by their country (re: Indonesia) system. The creative strength of this blog lies in its emotional storytelling. The writer uses metaphors like "a fish in its ow sea but still feeling like a stranger" to show the inner conflict between belonging and disconnection.

This kind of imagery makes the blog powerful and relatable, because it speaks to feeling rather than just facts. Another strength is the personal voice, it feels like the author is being very honest, almost like talking to a friend, which makes the post more engaging.

However, the blog could be seen as lacking in practical direction. While the emotion are clear, readers who are in the same situation might also look for ides, solution, or even hope on how to move forward. The focus on feelings makes the post relatable, but it also leaves th reader hanging without a strong sense of what to do next.

After reading @yellowbeee's blog, I realize how strong personal writing can be. The blog doesn't try to give facts or clear answer, but it still feels meaningful because it speaks about emotions that many teenagers or another young people understand. the writer loves Indonesia, but feels like there is no future there, and that mix of love and frustation is something a lot of us might feel in our way. Even without solutions, the blog makes readers reflect on their own experiences and feel less alone.

For me as a student who learn to write blogs, this shows why blog writing is so useful, It gives us space to practice expressing feelings and ideas in natural way. Unlike essays or assignment that usually formal, blogs let us write in out own style and use creativity to share stories. By write blog often, we can improve our writing and learn how to communicate clearly with different audiences.

In the end, this blog taught me that writing isn't only about solving problems, but also about sharing, inspiring, and so on.

And, that's all from me, guys.

Thank you for taking your time to read my analyze here, and yeah, see you on my next "THROUGH AUL's LENS"!!!
