Flipbook: Sitting on My Answered Prayers

Hi guys!!! Long time no see, I hope you're doing well๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

I just made a flipbook story with title "Sitting on My Answered Prayers".
But usually, before making a full story, we need to arrange an outline first, and here is my story outline based on Freytag's Pyramid.

SITTING ON MY ANSWERED PRAYERS

Exposition:

- characters: Jane (negative arcs), Jane's friends (positive arcs), Jane's parents (positive arcs)

- setting: Jane's house and school

- background information: Jane is a teenage girl who has personal problems like insecurity, desperate with her life. She's a quitter person. And she has her parents who always support her

Rising action:

Jane is struggling with herself. She used to be a cheerful and thankful person. Until something comes into her life, she starts to feel that her life is worthless.

Climax:

Jane can't handle it anymore. Her friends give her positive compliments and positive affirmations, but she thinks all of that is nonsense. Jane lost herself.

Falling action:

Jane looks like a miserable person (she is). Until one day her parents tell her meaningful sentences. At first Jane didn't believe it, but her parents always tell her the same sentences. Every day, Jane's parents accompany her and tell her the same meaningful sentences.

Resolution:

Finally, Jane thinking that the sentences her parents told to her are true. She found herself again. And in the end, Jane becomes what she used to be a cheerful and thankful person. And she marks the "I'm sitting on my answered prayers" sentence forever in her mind.

Conflict:

Character vs. self

Stakes:

Personal and philosophical
